Does it make sense to use the bat or thunderbird now?
In the light of new technologies and the collection of mail from all mailboxes in one, does it make sense to install an email client for yourself? Maybe he has some useful features that cannot be implemented in the browser?

There are, of course =)
Almost any client can be configured the way you want (if you want 2pane, if you want 3pane, if you want to draw your own). All mail archive is stored locally. There are a bunch of plugins for TB - from tricky email templates to integration with almost any software. And most importantly - there is PGP (almost in all clients).
But now, of course, customers are not needed to read registration confirmation letters on websites and mailing lists with cats.
Mail is always with you, regardless of the availability of the Internet.
I sent letters from excel via outlook, it was convenient. The vba script received data, counted it and immediately sent it to the mail. And letters in outgoing remained.
