DNS server settings is a local entity.
What is configured locally is used.
In this case, your router will use what is configured on it for name resolution, and your computer will use what is configured on the computer.

If the behavior of DNS on the router does not suit you, you can put another one on the system.
For home, it's fine. For the office, no.
