Does it make sense to post media on an .onion site on the dark web, or is it okay to link to the light web as well?

Hello!
There is a resource in the light web (regular Internet), hosted on several servers and subdomains. Let's conditionally name servers A (main, with code) and B (auxiliary, with photos and videos), and let's name the domains, respectively, website.com and media.website.com .
Website.com has a dark web mirror (which is also hosted on server A and points to the same folder), let's say website.onion . The site media.website.com located on server B may (but does not yet) have a mirror of mediawebsite.onion
At the moment, all photos posted on website.onion are in the following format:

<img src="https://media.website.com/image.jpeg" alt="" />

Of course, even if the media.website.com resource is blocked in the user's country. then everything is perfectly loaded through the TOR network.
The question is: does it make sense to convert all media links on website.onion from media.website.com/... to mediawebsite.onion/... and if so, which one?
Thank you!

Why did you decide to move the main site to onion? These same reasons apply to a subdomain.
And so, if you leave media on the Internet, then access to it will require the use of tor exit nodes, which are few and often overloaded. Therefore, it may happen that your site loads quickly, but the media content is slow and sad. Transferring media to tor is worth at least to get rid of the need to cross the border of the tor-Internet, thereby speeding up the download.
