Does it make sense to move the paging file to a separate drive?

tell me, please, does it make sense on virtual servers to transfer the pagefile.sys paging file to a separate logical drive?
Will it increase performance?

If we are talking about a logical disk, then you will not achieve an increase in performance. Only if there is a separate physical disk with parameters no worse than the main one.

If the performance is clearly limited by the paging file, and the disk to which you transferred the paging file is less loaded, then there is a point, otherwise not.

It makes sense to ensure that the paging file is not used and there is enough memory for running processes. Everything else is a dead poultice.

Makes sense for backups. If an incremental backup of the system partition is being made, then there is no point in constantly backing up the swap file.
