Does it make sense to duplicate corporate blog entries in two communities - Spark and LiveJournal?

Initially, I blog the project on Spark. There is a good rating system for projects and I'm trying to get to the top.
As an additional PR, I thought of duplicating entries in LiveJournal, I want to try thereby to increase the number of blog readers and, accordingly, service users.
Does it make sense? Can additional blogging on LiveJournal increase the number of users?
In social networks, for example, it makes sense to maintain publics in each network, since users and news feeds are different. I thought that the situation is about the same with blogs, is it?
I have never led LiveJournal, so it’s not autumn until I understand the principle of displaying posts there, the search mechanism, and so on. Under what conditions, other than buying ads, will my posts be visible to the community? Is there a general feed, random, subscriptions or by post rating?
Could this have any negative effect?

It can’t have a negative impact from the point of view of SEO, LiveJournal almost died, only political bloggers hang out there, you won’t find an audience. It is better to focus on social networks, IMHO, because. They are also indexed by search engines.
