Does installing an ssd make sense?

System unit with motherboard Gygabyte GA M720-US3. The specification states that sata is only 3 gb / s. I heard that the loss will be only with sequential recording, which very rarely happens in real conditions.
Does it make sense to put ssd on such a motherboard?

Yes, it has. The hard drive gives 160 megabytes per second (in sequential mode. There will be a penny in random mode). An SSD on such an interface will give 300.

It makes sense to put an SSD on a laptop, and ordinary modern screws feel great on desktops. Personally, I have enough speed with my head.
