Does HTTP authorization protect against attacks?
I am developing a site focused on no more than a dozen clients in the web interface, but with a large number of requests to its API (on behalf of these clients), one of the basic requirements is the maximum possible fault tolerance of the site.
Actually the question is this: will the basic authorization on the site protect against the most common attacks? such as excessive database load with empty requests, channel loading with empty traffic, password guessing, ddos, etc.

No. By itself, authorization will not protect against these types of attacks.
