Does Google maps work strangely in IE?

In IE, the google map is behaving strangely, not centering the correct coordinates, and not displaying the .
Give, I think, I'll see what it writes in the console, open it, reload the page, voila - everything works as it should. But it is worth restarting this unfortunate browser - again the same trouble.
Everything works fine in other modern browsers.
