Does Gmail know the number of mailboxes of the same person?

If I have a lot of Gmail boxes, and I sometimes go into one, go out and go to another. Does Gmail know about this?

And another question:
What if I click on the email verification links when registering on any sites? Do these sites know about the address from which the registration was confirmed?
