Hello everyone, I will not rant, I will go straight to the point.
An Apple computer (macbook air 13) was purchased on 10/3/14, the warranty for this is only a year, in 15, in September it was put in for repair due to a non-working card reader, it was repaired under warranty (the motherboard was replaced), they were issued on 10/7/15, they repaired exactly 45 days. Half a year has passed, and yesterday on 2.4.16 a breakdown was discovered, in the diagnostics it writes problems with the SMC and needs repair. So the question is, how long does the warranty on the motherboard last?

The Law says that the warranty period is extended by the period during which the product was not used. The service center or Apple may already, according to its internal policy, give some kind of guarantee for warranty work, but most likely they are not required by law to do this in this case.
Here you can go the other way. Article 19 of the Consumer Protection Act states:
This means that you can conduct an independent examination (it is important to find out who has the right to conduct it specifically on the Apple Macbook so that the results are accepted in court) and with its results apply for warranty repairs within two years, even though the manufacturer's warranty one year if the examination reveals that the breakdown is a defective product. You will have to pay for the examination yourself, but if it shows a marriage, the money for it will have to be returned.

I don’t know how in Russia, but in Belarus the warranty period is extended for the time the product is under repair. The warranty does not start counting from zero when replacing components and assemblies, unless a separate warranty is allocated for them.

Arithmetically, the guarantee for this miracle device ended on 10/3/15, even if we assume that the warranty was extended for 45 days, then this is (also arithmetically) 11/17/15. Those. Warranty expired 3.5 months ago. But if you have a warranty card for a replaced board and the problem is in it, then there will be no problems with warranty repairs.
