Does blocking processes really help improve android performance?

A number of programs (like Clean Master) assure that the operation of a smartphone on Android improves if you periodically "kill" background applications and clear the RAM (both while the smartphone is running and when the screen is locked). At the same time, there is an opinion that the android does not need third-party help in clearing its memory, and it can do it on its own. Help me figure out what's true? Should Clean Master be demolished for uselessness, or is it really doing the right thing?

Well, if you subjectively do not see the difference ... then why?

You can't kill. They will eventually restart, but restarting will eat up resources.
It is better to remove such software, but for this you need root.
Moreover, memory, by definition, must be used. If memory is not used, then resources are not being optimally used.

I don’t see anything of value in different wedge masters, boosters (accelerators). Not on the phone, not on the computer. They can only show beautiful pictures of problems. We need to get rid of such programs.
And yes, I have CCleaner on my computer to clear the temporary folder and empty the trash in one fell swoop).
And Clean Master is in the top of stores not because he can do something cool, but because he is advertised everywhere.

I have tried many programs to clean up RAM and processes. In general, I did not notice any acceleration or energy savings. Even when nothing superfluous hangs in the processes, there is exactly as much free memory as if I were not doing anything. I mean the system menu and graphic display in the programs themselves. Yes, and deleting processes in the phone menu itself, the memory is not freed up as much as expected. During active network surfing, the shell may reboot. Here only a complete reboot of the body effectively helps.
