But in general, it's not clear how it works, not a single comment.
Maybe someone dealt with similar scripts or knows a resource where there is a description for this script?

I made a responsive table just according to this example - I had to rewrite the script so that it covers all tables.
If you want something simpler, then you can simply make horizontal scrolling on overflow.
