Does Amazon deliver to Russia?

It seems that I manage to google some articles dated 2013 that AmazonGlobal is starting to deliver to Russia not only books, CDs and media content, but in general all the goodies that are sold on Amazon.
At the same time, I meet some posts from the beginning of 2014 that the Russian Post is introducing new conditions, and there will be huge problems with delivery from abroad.
I do not want to resort to the use of crutches in the form of forwarding services.
How is it going in reality? Can I order on Amazon, for example, a SLR camera for $2k? Are my fears justified that it will be broken while it is being driven, or will it be carefully replaced with bricks of a similar mass? What does the Prime icon mean next to some products?

For 2 kilodollars direct delivery you will have to pay a good duty at customs + run there in the process of its registration. If you order UPS, they will deliver normally and in 3-4 days to Moscow. If by regular delivery and our mail - toss a coin.
If at the same time the cost of the camera itself + delivery + customs clearance + time spent + exchange rate difference still turns out to be significantly lower than buying this from us, then the idea makes sense.
I ordered a number of parcels from Amazon to a Moscow address by express delivery (UPS). Registration and documents are needed already from parcels for $ 200.

I often buy from Amazon. As soon as they give your camera to our monopolist (Russian Post), then consider it broken or lost. Our mail does not have any express, they do not give any guarantees. Law, Court and Putin for Russian Post. You won't prove anything. From this, or through private traders to carry (also a risk) or not to order at all. I can personally help with goods from the EU. Our drivers carry goods on trucks. Delivery within a week. But if the goods are from the USA, and the truck comes from Germany, then there is a serious obstacle. So you ordered a camera on www.amazon.com, from the USA it will reach Germany in a couple of days, and at the border the Germans will demand an additional fee for it from the one to whose address it goes to Germany. And they won’t give the camera down until the person pays, plus pay for the work of customs brokers. Or they will return it. Also when parcels from China came to us. The same. Exit, order at www.amazon.de or www.ebay.de. If you have any questions, write to me at [email protected]
By the way, I ordered from the USA a couple of times through these guys https://vk.com/club29213910 , where the stewardess took a package with her. But then such delays began that it was already much more profitable to bring non-fragile goods by Russian post. In addition, they once brought a frankly broken thing! For all questions you run into rudeness! And why are you an intermediary, and are responsible for the time and quality of them FSUs ... In short, I no longer work with them, and I do not advise you.

1) Some of the goods are delivered, during checkout you will definitely find out if there is a possibility of delivery to Russia.
2) They won’t break, they pack pretty well there.
3) It will be necessary to pay another fee from 2k, about 30% in my opinion.
4) Amazon's prime subscription service for an increased level of services and delivery is not relevant for Russia.
5) 3-4 days can not deliver usps, Russia is all the same, customs is there and all that.

The most profitable shipping option I found is https://friend-shipping.com/. I've been using it for quite some time now. The price / quality ratio is an order of magnitude higher than that of other intermediaries. From the hostess of the project only positive impressions.
You can use Prime shipping from Amazon - blog.friend-shipping.com/%D0%BD%D0%BE%D0%B2%D0%B0%...

Cameras should be taken from BHPhotoVideo.
And delivery is done through the MAIL, and not through some kind of courier service.
Then you will be able to count on preferential customs clearance (without running around and free of charge) on the forum
30% * (the cost of the goods is 1000 euros of the free limit)
Courier services are not entitled to use this benefit.
Bought already a total of 4 DSLRs from abroad - no problem.
Normally delivered.

I wanted to assemble a PC and order components from Amazon, but since I will buy for the first time, I'm afraid, and if I order components separately, then I will have to pay 200 bucks for the processor or what?
The computer will be assembled in general for 2k dollars, how much money will I still have to pay off for everything to come?
