Does a Silverlight video link parser exist?

It was necessary to pull off video from a site of Microsoft'a. Searching for a ready-made solution for downloading Silverlight videos was not successful, plus a question on a similar topic recently flashed by.
Actually, a couple of questions arose:
1. Did I look badly in the direction of browser extensions or individual applications?
2. If they are not, then why? It turns out that either nobody needed it until now, or there are no universal solutions.
As for the second question: I wrote a small parser for my own needs in c#. A test on two links from different sites gives a positive result. I did not search for other sites with video files "hidden" behind Silverlight. Feel free to post some links to check.
