Does a regular mouse work fine with Macbook 2017?

Hello!
Please let me know if anyone has this experience. Does a regular mouse work fine, like Logitech with Macbook Pro 2017 via usb c?
Let me explain the question: now I am working in such a bundle with the 2014 firmware. It works fine, but still sometimes there are slight disagreements :-)
And not all mice are suitable. For example, some lose their sensitivity greatly, even when adjusting the settings.
And here everything will work through an adapter, and even usb c.
Thanks in advance! :-)
PS I know that the touchpad is excellent, but in view of the specifics of the work, the mouse is really needed.

If someone finds this post by searching, I want to warn him. Not a single mouse works in macos like in Windows. The reason is the acceleration curve, which in makosi is sharpened on the touchpad. Here is a description of the problem:

In Makos, of course, there is acceleration, but it is terrible. Mouse movements are jerky and inadequate. Let's say the cursor is over some menu item, and you need the next one. You begin to smoothly move the mouse down. She barely walks one pixel. You have already traveled 2 centimeters across the table, and you still haven’t reached the desired menu item. Then you speed up a little... and you've already jumped over 3 points. Hell.

So if you've tried a bunch of mice and they all work strangely with a poppy - you don't go crazy, you're all right.
As far as I can see, the problem is still (10 years later) not solved. Mouse behavior can be slightly brought closer to normal Windows using SteerMouse, etc. utilities, but a complete analogue cannot be achieved. One thing pleases - after a couple of weeks of torment, the brain still adapts to the new rules of the game. And, if you are lucky, there is also a chance that you will not notice a change in the acceleration curve - some do not notice, for them mouse movements in Windows and MacOS are subjectively the same.

Mac is at work.
Used a regular office mouse, terrible.
Then I got an Apple Magic Mouse, and it was even worse.
As a result, I brought my A4Tech Bloody R8 from home and I don’t want to take it home)))

Correct, but is the touchpad the same as the magic trackpad ? Why do you even need a mouse?
