Does a programmer need such a processor???

Advise!!! It is possible to take either i7 6700k or xeon e5-2650 v3 (10 cores and 20 threads but the frequency is 2.2-3.0). Programming for Android. Is there any sense in threads for for such tasks? Sometimes I run games, but I'm not a fan (video p9 380 4GB)

You don't need Xeon.

The programmer is able to decide for himself which processor he needs.

If you cannot solve this, then you are not a programmer, not even close to being a programmer.
It would be useful to me for a hobby - photo-video processing.
Not needed for work.

Xeon is needed only if you plan to run several emulators in Wirth immediately. machines. Otherwise, i7 will be enough with a margin (i3 would be enough, but this is a topic for a separate discussion)

You should not take less than two Lomonosovs !
