I've been doing freelance websites for a while. I do not make whole sites, but small scripts, edits, but as the main income.
Do I need to register an IP in this case? Or how to pay taxes and sleep peacefully?

As a self-employed person, you can register in any of the regions from 2019 (Moscow, Moscow region, Kaluga region, Republic of Tatarstan).
