Docker. client and server don't have the same version. How to fix?

Client version on win 10

/Arch (server): linux/amd64 and server don't have same version (client : 1.21, server: 1.18) Why did lin install an outdated docker version for me?

  • The package dockeris obsolete and is in turnips for backward compatibility, the current docker versions are called docker-ce.
  • The client on your computer is also antediluvian, but after updating the server it should work. Since Docker CLI for Windows is not released separately, you can either install Docker for Windows/Docker Toolbox or build from source to upgrade.
