Do you use vitamins for the "brain"?
I want to clarify that it is vitamins and excipients that are of interest, and not "stimulants".
After a little digging into the topic, I realized that the most necessary are B vitamins - such as "Universal Nutrition VITAMIN B-COMPLEX" and excipients - Ginko Biloba and Levocarnitine. But it is not yet clear how "useful" they are and what effect they give. And most importantly for me - do they harm?
If you use similar complexes or have used them before, I will be grateful for the answers.

First, you are in no hurry. Sit at the computer for fifteen or twenty years, back problems will begin, the neurologist will feed you the same B-group vitamins in shock doses. Eat some more.
Secondly, there are a monstrous number of answers to such questions on the Internet, mostly paid. Therefore, when you are strongly advised to drink the usual complement, remember that the usual undevit differs from it only in price - ten times, really ... Well, it’s more difficult to find it in pharmacies, especially in the window - there are just beautiful boxes, glorified TV.
And so - to drink vitamins a couple of times a year, for prevention, has not harmed anyone yet. But to hope that they will give you abilities that you do not have is at least naive. They will only save you from depression, chronic fatigue and other conditions bordering on non-working. To spur something on a healthy body is to borrow from your own future. I don't recommend it very much.
When I need to "turn on the brain" I stupidly eat chocolate. Or anything sweet.
Nootropil or Piracetam. It certainly won't hurt.
Piracetam costs around 30-60 rubles, nootropil is much more expensive (because it is not produced in the Russian Federation). Drink courses according to the instructions.
I buy American vitamins and drink them twice a year - in November and March. Solely for the prevention of viral infections ... everything. For the brain, I have other "stimulants" - running and quality sleep at the same time is desirable. O! I also noticed that when I quit going to the gym, besides the fact that I swim, my working capacity also drops very much - some kind of blues, fatigue, endless procrastination ....
Buy any sports vitamins. Immediately feel the difference with pharmacy counterparts. Helps the head. Helps everything. Personally, I can recommend vitamins from vpLab. Also Animal Pack. Also keep in mind that when taking vitamins, you must drink the daily norm of water. Glycine, leuzea, eleutherococcus, ginseng are also very good, the main thing is not to overdo it.
I drank different noontropes - to some extent it works, but it's not interesting. Now I drink only vitamins B, magnesium, potassium, and go in for sports. Quite normal. Working at a computer causes hypodynamia - the main scourge of computer scientists, and only sport saves from it. If you go in for sports, there will be concentration and clarity of thoughts.
In addition, the movement of the legs that occurs when walking is necessary to increase the synthesis of the protein responsible for memory.
The brain is a system that does not work in isolation from your body)) Everything that is good for the body is good for the brain, I practice physical exercises, IMHO the effect is much greater.
Basically, all "non-stimulants" provide trace elements and there is a group of serious drugs (such as anti-stroke) that improve blood circulation.
Vitamins B6, B12, calcium / magnesium are very supportive of performance.
But stimulants are evil, stimulants borrow from tomorrow's "I". Unfortunately, I realized that tea / coffee / sugar also applies to them. Without them, it breaks for a week, but then it gets better - sleep normalizes, the character becomes more calm and balanced, there is no feeling of "burnout"
At one time I tried Semax and Phenotropil - they work well, the effect is long-lasting. The state is similar to what in some branches of psychology is called uptime / hps (state of high productivity). I also tried glycine + biotredin - there is an effect, but not so pronounced, these amino acids, like vitamin complexes, are useful to drink periodically for prevention.
Now (more than a year) I don’t use it - a more or less healthy lifestyle: without smoking and alcohol, daily walks, gymnastics (not sports) give a background positive effect.
And of course my passion for practical psychology and hypnology gave a big plus. It is very helpful to put yourself consciously into a trance at least once a day. In this regard, it is good to learn at least the basics of self-hypnosis - the effect is many times greater than the costs.
I take a tincture of Rhodiora Rose from time to time. It costs 30 rubles.
I don’t take it for brains, but it also helps a little.

As for the selected vitamins, the dosages are serious, these are sports vitamins. Consult with the doctor, it seems nothing bad will come out, but it's better to play it safe. I would drink the usual complivit, 2 tablets 2 times a day.
I drink Universal Nutrition Animal Pak, but these are also sports vitamins.
From piracetam at one time I did not feel any effect at all - like chalk. Now I drink phenotropil courses, the effect is noticeable, but only if you have a good rest and eat. Didn't feel any side effects. In emergency situations, it is safe (in my case) to increase the dose by 2-3 times, but then you definitely need a good rest and a lot of sleep.
I will support about piracetam, although these are not vitamins.
It does not help much, but it does not help immediately, but after a couple of months.
In general, it costs a penny in a pharmacy - take it according to a prescription.
There was another useful article on Habré, but it was devoured by a UFO. Copies can be found on Google .
For a while I drank vitamins, but they do not give a tangible effect, whatever one may say. But the last two years in the summer I run early in the morning. I started from the 1st round, because at school and at the university I somehow scored on all this. Now I notice that it affects the general condition of the body, including memory. Therefore, I advise you to just start exercising, find your sport (I do ballroom dancing), get enough sleep and enjoy life!
