Do you use modal dialog boxes only with a cross in the GUI of your projects?

If it's a selection/confirmation box ([Yes] and [No] or [OK] and [Cancel]), then of course there will be buttons.
And if it's just a modal information window, then the button will be one: [OK] or, for example, [Close].
In both cases, there is also a “cross” in the window title, which closes the window (in the selection / confirmation window, such closing the window is equivalent to rejecting, canceling)
But in the second case, one “cross” seems to be enough.
We argue about this. I stick to what should be uniform, classical.
But everything flows, everything changes.
And what about your practice with such windows?

Cross always. In the forms next to the submit, an additional button is close.
