Does active use of val impair understanding of the code in the command?

If the whole team uses lombok, then the understanding of the code will not change. But I would not apply this approach on my own, being in a team. If the code is written correctly, and the length of the methods is reasonable, then there should be no problems in understanding.
But, IMHO, such "tools" are best avoided.
