Actually, I came across ticket #1220 three years ago.
The bottom line is that many people want to rename the names of torrents that are hardcoded directly into .torrent.
That is, for example, I download the Cannon Fodder toy, the file contains CANNON_FODDER, and I want the folder to be called “Cannon Fodder - Eng - DOS” in the file system, for example.
uTorrent allows it, Transmission does not.
However, 4 months ago comrade ijuxda wrote a patch for this case.
But probably my hands are crooked and everything didn’t start by default, I had to dig a little in the sorts.
So this is a systematic question - how many people use this torrent client and need such a function?
In addition to the implementation of this patch, I actually finished the “Transmission Remote GUI” on FreePascal + Lazareus.
