Do you need a simple script that parses by word and displays a sentence if it contains one?

Take any poem.
The hedgehog runs on the grass and laughs.
The grass tickles the hedgehog.
The weed ran out , the gravel went ...
so we need a script that parses for the presence of a word in this verse and gives it out completely if not sent to / dev / null and the output is empty
by grep it’s clear how to do it, but maybe there is an elegant solution?
