Do you know cases where Drupal and python scripts are used together on the same site?

Often, the same projects use drupal and Node.js at the same time. This is due to the fact that Node.js is more suitable for solving certain tasks than php, and also a rich JS infrastructure is tied to it. But at the same time, there are tasks that could be very conveniently implemented in python. Why not use it in conjunction with php code in a similar way to Node.js?
Has anyone tried to make Drupal friends with Flask or Django? What are the real cases where such an approach is justified?

And what is the actual problem? Run php-fpm and uwsgi/gunicorn/etc in parallel and route requests to the desired backend at the web server level. Nothing complicated. Or do you need some special "friendship"?
