Do you have a LAN switch for sale?
And if so, what keywords to search for it?
I mean a switch that can be put in the gap of the 8-wire cable that connects the PC to the network, so that you can easily and reliably turn on / off access to the LAN. It is desirable, of course, that the switch has just 2 RJ-45 connectors, into which you could simply plug the connectors. So far I have found only switches or adapters at worst, which are used to lengthen the cable.

Put any two-contact switch on any wire of the first pair and you will be guaranteed a break. It can be four-pin - on both wires of the first pair.
Firewall of the physical layer?)))) What's the point? You buy the simplest L2 switch, put it in a cable break. There is a switch on the switch itself. If it is not there, then put it in the gap of the power cable or simply unplug the switch from the outlet.
If you need several computers, buy a Mikrotik and write a script that will translate the port to down using the cron. But why such perversions?
Everything seems to be simple: you buy the simplest managed switch (if you don't already have it) and on it on the right port, if necessary, it says "shutdown" and that's it, the enemy is disconnected from everything in the world.
