Do they encourage authors on Habré?
Good day.
Some time ago, a button Encourage the author appeared on Habré. It is clear that the functionality works and everything is fine. But do people really use it? Does it happen that people read your article, and at the same time you got money from them, because they liked it? Have you received at least some (and, if not a secret, how much) from your articles on Habré?
And yes, I know that everything depends on the quality of the article, and that articles are not written for money. But they would be a nice bonus, so I wonder: are they real, and not just nominally?

Unfortunately, from our statistics - only the number of use of the donate button, we do not record the amount of transfers (and this is a personal matter of the authors). In short, they press the button, but not very willingly, not all and not always - in this regard, in terms of stability and size, donations are unlikely to catch up with the PAP, a lot depends on the article and other factors. Although there are such cases (but they are rather exceptions)):
1) For all the time I have not received a single donation, neither for my articles, nor for the articles of my colleagues, friends, clients (about 16 articles).
2) PPA program is such a thing. It was already believed here that if you do not publish yellowness and some translations, then the money invested is not worth participating in this program. (because until you get the author's badge - 10 articles (for each article, the administration can kill your account (which I already had 3 times!), And start all over again). And so on.
3) What really brought money is some companies ordered blog articles from me. But it’s true, buy a couple of bottles of good whiskey at your leisure.

ps In general, now there is such a policy in Habré to milk corporate users in corporate blogs. An ordinary person to earn money - you have to plow hard. And it is already considered that it is not worth it.
There is no hope for this button.
Asked some popular authors - got nothing.
I didn't get anything either.
Apparently the human brain, focused on the text of the article, does not notice this button.
