Do I need to turn off the amplifier in the clock when there is no incoming signal?
In the clock I want to put an amplifier with output to the speakers. A bluetooth module will be connected to it (like bluetooth speakers and mp3 from a memory card). Everything will be controlled by Arduino. The module can be turned on with the buttons and in accordance with the alarm settings. Do I need to turn off the amplifier when the source is not turned on or let it work all the time? If disabled, how?

Check if the leg amplifier has "HOLD" or SLEEP or Stand-by.
In general, modern amplifiers (you don’t have class A, right?) consume almost nothing without load, but for a wearable device this “almost” can be fatal. Read the datasheet on the amplifier, there is definitely an item "consumption in idle time"
