Do I need to take into account the PPI of a smartphone when creating a mobile version of a design?
Recently a question has come up. All the time as a web designer, I drew two versions of the site design - desktop and mobile (1920 and 360 or 320). I want to additionally develop design for mobile applications, but PPI needs to be taken into account there. For example, the iPhone 8 has a resolution of 375x667, but it has a x2 multiplier (twice as many pixels per inch as screens without retina), which indicates that the application needs to be drawn at a resolution of 750x1334. Question:
- Does it work with websites as well? If I drew the design of the desktop version, then, for example, the mobile version / adaptive with the basis on the iPhone 8, should also be drawn in 750x1334? Or is it still 375x667?
Sorry for the many letters. I wanted to clarify the question as much as possible :)
