Do I need to switch replicas when changing the master while maintaining the IP address?

Raised a new server for the base (ip 192.168.0. 5 ), uploaded a dump from the previous backup, launched it as a slave to catch up with the master server (ip 192.168.0. 1 ). Then I stopped the backend of the site, stopped the replicas (ip 192.168.0. 3 ). Stopped the master server, but the new server was always on. Changed the IP address of the new server to the one that the master had before. Changed its settings to become master server 192.168.0. 5 >> 192.168.0. 1 .
The old server is no longer accessible under the old IP. And the replica (ip 192.168.0. 3 ) after the start continued to work as if nothing had happened. This is fine? :)

A new server is already running on the old IP, the old one simply cannot connect to the network, because his IP is busy.
