Do I need to install DirectX on Windows 10?

Got a question. In windows 10, as far as I know, the DirectX package is already included by default.
From the microsoft site:

Windows 10 and Server 2016 Technical Preview
These versions of Windows DirectX 11.3 and 12 are preinstalled.
Updates will be available through Windows Update. There is no separate DirectX version data pack.

Why, then, most games do not start without installing DirectX from here https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.a... ?
Is it like a package for windows 7?

Run dxdiag and see if you have some kind of assembly curve or something.
All games work for me without direct installation)
