Is it possible to give policies to the index? Can.
Does it need to be done on purpose? Not necessary.
Will my site improve in the eyes of search engines if my privacy policy is indexed? No.

You don't need to disable indexing. The search will see that the site does not lie like a stone and is constantly updated.
But it's not worth indexing either. It does not carry any meaning for the buyer or visitor.

Definitely close from indexing and from following the link.
The search engine already knows that there is such a page, but even if you write 100% unique text there, then under what key phrases do you want to promote it? Do you need it? Do you think someone in the search will look for "Privacy Policy of the company such and such"? Of course it won't, so you don't need to send such pages to the index.
The same as the service pages (login, registration, personal account, etc.).
No other auxiliary pages are needed (search results, different sorting options, product filtering, etc.).
If the page is empty or under development, then it must also be closed until it is ready.
