Do I need to generate my own SSL certificate for each subdomain?

The question is - there is a head site, the management thinks to go to the regions, such as SEOs advise promoting your region on the subdomain of the head site - the question is, now everything is pulling nginx, it works in SNI mode (several certificates on one white IP) and received a free certificate for sitename. ru and www.sitename.ru
How then to deal with regional subdomains (rostov.sitename.ru etc)? Also for each to receive a new one?
Thank you!
