Do I need to enable gzip compression in NGINX in conjunction with CloudFlare?
The question arose - in all the manuals they write that gzip in nginx is a mandatory option. But CloudFlare also supports compression, and in theory this is an unnecessary additional load on the processor. Is compression necessary if the site is behind CloudFlare?

No, it's enough to enable compression only on CloudFlare as well as caching
