Do I need to do a RAID for the swap partition?

Good afternoon.
I'm installing ubuntu server on my machine using RAID and this question arises,
I created MB for / +boot directory
I created MB for /home directory
Do I need to make MB for swap partitions?
If so, why, if not, why not?

The census of idiots is higher in the thread.
If you decide to do a swap at all (which is not mandatory in itself), then a raid swap is needed.
A simple example - the base went into swap, the raid under swap fell apart (or the disk with part of the swap fell out), some of the data was lost.

No, it doesn `t need. If there is enough memory, you can not do swap.
