1. When the site and its admin panel are available at addresses like mysite.ru and backend.mysite.ru
2. On the same domain, when the admin panel is available at mysite.ru/admin The
question is , which method is preferable and what is the reason? Will I have to order an additional domain for the admin part for the first case?

Which option to give preference to is a moot point, as they say - every sandpiper praises his swamp.
You do not need to order an additional domain, why, you already have everything on one domain name. Just create a third-level domain through the hosting control panel and that's it.
