Do I need to configure ISP Manager 5 for a standard WP site?
Greetings!
The programmer has a task: to copy the site to a new server and update the PHP version, template and plugins.
The new server runs on Linux (CentOS), the socket is ISP Manager 5 Lite. PHP version - 7.1, on the site version 5X.
There are actually two programmers. One says that you need to pre-configure a new server. The second says there is no need for it, at least not yet.
Found sysadmins to set up the server. There are also two of them. One says that you need to tune and he can do it for the n-th amount. Another sysadmin says that for a normal Wordpress site, the default ISP manager settings are enough. If I still want him to do something, I need to provide TK.
The programmer who asks for the setting, on the question of what exactly needs to be set up, is silent (for now, maybe he just hasn't read my question yet).
The question is: do you even need to configure the server for the WP site. Maybe it depends on the site traffic or something else?

You need to have the software installed on the server that is required for WordPress to work correctly.
ISPmanager is a web hosting control panel that allows you to set up a web server without any special knowledge of the operating system.

PS You can install and use several different PHP versions in ISPmanager:
