Do I need a master's degree in IT?
In 2020 he graduated from the university, bachelor. Due to several reasons, including personal ones and the fact that at that time I did not work in my specialty, it was decided to enter the magistracy, full-time department. On a budget.
Last fall, I was hired by a company, and at the moment I’m satisfied with everything: I’m getting experience, it’s interesting to work, and the salary (given my little current experience) suits me.
However, I can’t say the same about the university: there is absolutely no interest in the learning process (some topics are almost the same as at the bachelor’s), I practically don’t get useful knowledge for myself, my personal needs have already been met, I’m running out of strength to stay on the master’s program .
Why are you still in graduate school? For the most part, the influence of parents, which resulted in several of the following issues:

I think that the university should not be mentioned, since it somehow does not affect the picture.

Is a master's degree in IT really necessary?
Is it necessary for "upgrading"?
Is he needed in leadership positions (in the distant potential future, do you need a master's degree to become a leader in a company)?
In foreign IT companies
Why are you still in graduate school?
What do you think, will there be "tricks" from the state in the future, that the bachelor's degree will somehow depreciate greatly, etc.?
In private IT, experience and practice are much more valued.
In state - achievements, although usually one higher degree is enough
. In foreign - see "private"
I would say that in an enterprise, an ordinary tower + a set of specialized CCNA, CCNP, etc. will be more valued. certificates than the abstract peel "Master of Engineering"
You are already working, why the hell do they ask you a diploma at work? If not why ask nonsense
Now connoisseurs of higher education will come running and begin to tell that without it there is no way and nowhere, but in fact they don’t even look at a diploma even where it is postulated as mandatory.
During the past autumn, they hired a company, at the moment they are satisfied with everything on it:

A master's degree is like good underwear, no one sees it, but it adds confidence.
It is necessary - it is not necessary to better decide for yourself, because. in many cases it is not needed, just show off. IMHO
And so - for killing your time and just for pride for yourself - you can get it.
