Do I need a local DB in an android network application?
Dear developers, tell me. Is it advisable not to use local storage in the form of a simple SQLite database or a ContentProvider implementation in an Android network application. The application is presented as a simple web-client of the service with authorization, obtaining a profile, a feed and a separate product. What if the IntentService, which deals with requests and receiving data, will simply store the received objects in an ArrayList. The data is mostly textual. Will the system unload the application due to lack of memory? Or what other rake I can step on? This decision will be pushed by a friend due to the use of MongoDb on the server. Responses from the server come immediately with documents from the collection
