Do commercial companies use free software?

Hello!
I'm wondering if relatively large software companies use free libraries or software packages in their projects?
I saw (and liked it myself) the SFML library - an interesting and understandable product.
What are the chances that there are companies using, for example, this or similar libraries?
Or is the world mired in Qt?
It's the same with software packages - I really like Blender3D, but if you try to get a job somewhere - there is only 3d Max (no one has heard of other packages).
Thanks for answers.

Eee we only use them. Big company. Because everything has to be fleshed out. Well, they scratched the bottom of the barrel and bought a license for Visual Studio,
