The purpose of the question is, does a backend developer need to know css and javascript at a high level for freelancing or is it enough to know at a basic level?

I practice python framework django. I know html, css. I am also learning javascript. After learning javascript, I will learn PostgreSQL. English at intermediate level.

The problem is that I have no problems with the backend, but when I go to style the page, this is where I spend most of my time. Do I really need javascript, because I write the backend in python? Do I need to know react if I want to become a backend developer?

Is it possible to find a job on upwork with this set django/html/css(basic or bootstrap)/PostgreSQL/ + basic javasript if needed?
