Do backend developers need to know css and javascript at a high level for freelancing?
Hello,
The purpose of the question is, does a backend developer need to know css and javascript at a high level for freelancing or is it enough to know at a basic level?
I practice python framework django. I know html, css. I am also learning javascript. After learning javascript, I will learn PostgreSQL. English at intermediate level.
The problem is that I have no problems with the backend, but when I go to style the page, this is where I spend most of my time. Do I really need javascript, because I write the backend in python? Do I need to know react if I want to become a backend developer?
Is it possible to find a job on upwork with this set django/html/css(basic or bootstrap)/PostgreSQL/ + basic javasript if needed?

necessary if you want to do everything yourself.
I prefer to do what interests me, and outsource non-core tasks.
yes, as a result I have less money from the project. but I close the project much faster than I would be tinkering with it myself.
overroll - I'm in the black and have more money.
To work on freelance, you need to have a full rating and good reviews, or be at work in the basement of an uncle who already has all this.
The stack is required as complete and well studied as possible.
Freelancing doesn't even require programming knowledge.
This is an entrepreneurial activity.
You can find work, there are plenty of them everywhere, but not everyone wants to work. It is not necessary to learn the front, I give all the layout to freelancers, because. I hate her to bits. But some Vue is useful to learn in a few days, especially since it is as pleasant as python.
A backend developer doesn't need to know high level css and javascript to freelance, but does freelancing need a backend developer? In practice, freelancing needs a Backend, Frontend, designer, SEO specialist and system administrator in one box.
