Do Angular Developers Need Advanced Javascript Knowledge?

Friends, maybe the question is not quite correct and the CEP will say yes. But now the situation is such that the company where I work as a coder needs an angular.js developer. I know some basic javascript basics. Will this be enough for me to work with Angular, or do I need to fully understand javascript first (and, for example, with design patterns) and only then move on to Angular? Or stop reading, for example, the basics at shamansir.github.io/JavaScript-Garden
Thanks in advance for adequate answers.

Well, you yourself understand that without knowing javascript you will write guano? Another question is that it can be combined, since without knowledge of JS it will be hard for you to learn angular.
In general, this is a rather fat layer of knowledge, and if you are now at an almost zero level, plan that in order to rise to the norm level, it will take you about a year of trial and error.

If we are talking about something primitive, such as displaying data in a template and forgetting it, then anyone can handle this, because initially the angular was filed with the expectation of designers and backends. But as soon as you need to write something complex, change some parts of the framework for yourself, work confidently with directives, and so on, then write wasted. It’s very easy to start with Angular, but then it turns out that everything is not easy and you can’t figure it out without half a liter (and you constantly have to fight with the framework). So with a 99% chance you will turn the project into jQuery noodles in a week, and any normal developer who looks inside will want to hang himself.
And in general, the js-garden level is just the bottom of the bottom, it's too early for you to use frameworks.

Try it, if the rules are going well and everything is clear, then why go deep somewhere, the main thing is practice. Usually, before submitting material on the main topic, a summary of the required material is given.
As soon as you read the comments, so people everything, they made a diagnosis and immediately decided that the person was obviously doing well.
Come on man, fry it there.

If you don't know how to program, then no matter how you call yourself a developer, you won't be.
