DNS servers from GOOGLE do not work. Why?
Hello!
Faced the following problem. When prescribing DNS servers from Google (8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4), they refuse to work. When checking on whoer and similar sites, it shows the DNS servers of my provider. However, other DNS from other companies (Yandex, Comodo, OpenDNS) work. I registered both in the settings of the router and in the OS itself, together and separately. I cleared DNS (ipconfig /flushdns), the DNS client service is working correctly. The call to the technical support of the provider did not bring any benefit. Technical support refers to a problem related to setting up a router, but then why is the DNS of other companies working stably and correctly displayed on third-party sites showing my DNS.
UPD: when testing on VMWare, a similar problem.
Tell me what could be the problem?
