DLNA server for Linux without GUI
In connection with the purchase of PS3, I would like to set up a media server on my home server (Debian Squeeze), which could broadcast video and preferably audio from the server to the set-top box. Googling, I found out that this is possible according to the DLNA standard. Since there are no Xs on the server, I would like something like a demon. Who faced, advise?

I use Mediatomb mediatomb.cc/ under Ubuntu 10.4. I can not say that I am very satisfied, but it works. Since the tree he built during scanning did not suit me, I decided to remove everything and do it by hand, since the library being distributed is small - mostly cartoons for children. And here the web interface turned out to be very handy. What upset me was the impossibility of transferring files from one directory to another - you have to delete everything and drive it in a new way. But the database is there on SQLite or MySQL, so it's probably solvable.
