Also, maybe someone knows how to convert DjVu to PDF with saving to text and images, and not just images, i.e. with extruding text from a DjVu text layer.

And Okular can do this too, I’m not sure exactly. But what converts this fact
As far as I know, normal DjView can save from djvu to pdf with text preserved.
Actual question. I myself suffer in general with the translation of DjVu to PDF. There was a 30MB book at the output of 400MB. It doesn't go through any gates. Tried several virtual printers, DjView, STDU and something else. Many programs simply crash during conversion.
