Django + Stripe. Where to begin?

Hello.
It is necessary to implement a simple monthly subscription to the site. (Pure Django project, I just want to get acquainted and test).
I made an account on stipe.com, got the keys for the API.
I think to use django-stripe-payments. (Correct if there are better options)
Plans - there will be a monthly payment and an annual one.
I already did something, but payments still do not reach the sandbox.
Maybe there are some examples (I searched on github, but without success)
I would be grateful for help and advice)
