Django. Creating a shopping cart for an online store?

Hello! I'm learning Django on my own, I can't figure out how to make a shopping cart for an online store.
Google search yielded no clear results. I read a lot of literature, looked at an example of creating a basket.
I downloaded the application for the basket from the Internet, ran the makemigrations and migrate commands. Added an application to settings.py INTALLED_APPS. I can't really figure out how to put it all together. How to add an item to the cart on click. If anyone can help with a link to the literature / finished project or advice, I will be grateful.

what other "basket application"?
as an option (not the best, in my opinion) - you can do it like in this course
