Django and abstract models with extra table?

Good afternoon!
Previously, when I asked the model that it was abstract and inherited other models from it, the table for the abstract model was not created.
Now I'm doing a project on 1.4 and noticed with horror that it was created ... Where am I wrong? What have I done wrong? Or is this a new feature?
