Distributed audio player. Music in the kitchen

I want to build something that allows you to listen to music in the kitchen (and in different rooms) from one source but on several speakers. Something like this - habrahabr.ru/post/181728/
Recently there was another article on this topic - I can’t find it. Could you help with the search?
Or maybe someone else has better suggestions?

I’m just preparing a similar article for the Raspberry Pi, and it’s a little easier to set up than the article you indicated, I plan to finish it closer to the weekend.

In my opinion, this is the best option in terms of price / ease of setup / opportunities obtained.

In small AV installations, 1-2 additional audio zones are often obtained from the receiver.
In the main zone, things rarely work without it, and a couple of audio zones remain, as it were, out of work.
It is to these contacts that they connect the cable and lead it either directly to the speakers, or to a small amplifier (if the signal is weak).
It turns out the price of the cable, speakers and installation of all this.
If they want an exclusively wireless solution, then components from Sonos or something similar
are installed . They can be arranged in rooms, building a kind of WiFi multiroom.
But all these solutions are noticeably more expensive than using "extra" audio zones in the receiver.
