Display configuration change shortcut?

My PC, being connected to a large TV set, plays the role of a media center from time to time.
On WinXP, after reading the Nvidia Control Panel API PDF, I created such a shortcut

%windir%\system32\rundll32.exe NvCpl.dll,dtcfg attach 2

Weigh it on WinLirc or just run it from the desktop - it doesn’t matter, the point is that with one click we turn on the TV output.
It's a shame that on Win7 x86 this business did not have a reaction (apparently a different API), but I want to implement it.
Well, not only connecting a second monitor is of interest, but also turning it off with one command.
