Hmm, hmm. Here, colleagues who are promoting Linux with might and main have forgotten, all of a sudden, that the world of windows is quite large. And there is quite a lot to devops there. For everyone to understand, devops is not a person who introduces some "novelties", but a person who facilitates the process of developing and implementing software. Blurs the line between the dev and ops teams. You need a configuration management tool - ok, here's System Center Configuration Manager, you need a Ci/CD tool - ok, here's TFS, TeamCity, Microsoft Release Management.
Or do you think that a huge layer of companies that develop and use a purely windows stack will drop everything and go to introduce some fashionable crafts for themselves, simply because they are fashionable? Colleagues, if you have not seen anything in your life except Linux and tools for them, this does not mean that the whole world lives according to your model and a person needs to drop everything and learn Linux (why??).
PS I myself, suddenly, a java developer, use a pure nix stack, Redhat, Solaris, Oracle, ansible, jenkins and so on. I just know how to watch what happens to other people, and not to assume that since I use this, then the whole world should use this.

Try automating tasks with DevOps tools.
TeamCity or Jenkins, they can be raised under Windows as well.
But it's better to add virtualization (virtualbox, vmware) and raise them under Linux
Learn in git
Master bash
In general - read vacancies, read requirements, learn what's in them. Adequate generalist windows-administrator quickly masters the basic Linux level.

Administration is Ops. DevOps does not administer.
Moreover, DevOps is not tied to the type of operating system in any way. Some of the code may be on Linux, some on Windows, developers on Macs - the zoo will always be luxurious.
Learn to understand how the OS works, don't teach it. It's easier to start with Linux. Windows is very complex in terms of DevOps.
